I started this blog mostly for my own reference, to document my job finding progress and to keep myself accountible for establishing a good life here in Japan. Last time I was in Tokyo I could have made a lot more out of my time than I did. I figured that keeping public record of what efforts I'm making would help stay me more on track and organise myself.
Having found meaningful work in an industry outside English teaching, I just want to keep people up to date and be able to look back at what I had to say about certain seasons of my life here. If it sounds like I'm talking about my job a lot, it's because that's something that I will change my perspective on a lot. It's good to write down your perspectives about work as they come.
Hopefully after some time I will have created an accurate picture of what it's like to immigrate to Japan relatively late in my youth. Feel free to comment or drop me an email to let me know how things are going elsewhere.
